Unconditional Sale of 17 home scheme in Cubbington, Warwickshire.

Rosconn Strategic Land are delighted to announce completion of the unconditional sale of land at Waverley Riding School, Cubbington to Warwick District Council. The site sale marks our fourth sale since April 2020 as the business continues to deliver outstanding results for our landowners in what remain uncertain times.

The brownfieid site extends to 1.78 acres and formed part of a former riding school. Detailed planning permission was granted in October 2019 for 17 homes including 7 affordable properties.

Following marketing of the site Warwick District Council were identified as Rosconn and the landowner’s preferred purchaser.  The move to acquire the site forms part of a wider strategy by Warwick District Council to significantly boost the direct provision of affordable homes in conjunction with a range of construction partners across the district. This is seen as a critical component to enable local people to continue living within the district.

Warwick District Council’s Portfolio Holder for Housing Councillor Jan Matecki commented;

“We’re very pleased to have been able to secure this land for much needed housing within our district during challenging times.  This is a great location, and with a high proportion of affordable homes this could give an opportunity for young people and those with families to relocate to or stay in the area.”
