Rosconn are proud to announce the completion on the sale of 80 plots at Desford, Leicestershire to Miller Homes.
Once again, Rosconn were chosen as the landowner’s promotion partner due to their experience engaging with local communities and key local stakeholders, (experience which later proved to be vital due to other competing sites, one of which was refused planning and has had to go to planning appeal).
The local community were won over not just by Rosconn’s expertise but by the support of our expert external consultants working alongside us at Define Planning who helped bring the scheme to life through an excellent vision document.
Despite developing a close working relationship with the reviewing case officer, carefully ironing out any technical issues and the application being recommend for approval, the Planning Committee members were minded to refuse the application and it was subsequently to be heard again at the following month’s committee. As ever, the Rosconn team stayed strong and planning permission was successfully granted.
