March 2018 saw the launch of the Land Promoters and Developers Federation (LPDF). Bringing together sixteen organisations from the land promoters and developers sector. The LPDF will allow the organisations which may ordinarily be competing against one another to come together as one to tackle problems such as housing demands not being met.
Subsequently the LPDF members began engaging in the national debate by submitting a response to the Homes, Communities and Local Government Select Committee’s Inquiry on Land Value Capture, hoping to engage a wider interest in how we bring forward new homes for those so desperately in need of a place to call their own.
